Greg & Jennie live in Derby, KS, a small community just south of Wichita. Their blended family includes five children, 12 grandchildren, which are their pride & Joy!
Greg worked for the county for many years while making pottery on the side. He retired in 2006 and chose to pursue the pottery business full time. Jennie takes care of the office work for the pottery business as well as helps Greg in the studio any way she can. She has also been a Mary Kay consultant for 28 years.
Greg's Pottery Journey
Greg fell in love with pottery in high school under the teaching of Terry Aikens. He has been creating pottery since that time continuing to push himself to try new things and develop new talents. Along with traveling to art festivals across much of the country, Greg's pottery is sold at Whispering Pines Gallery in Grand Lake, CO, and in the Pottery Shop at Silver Dollar City outside Branson, Missouri.
Featured Art
Although the functional pottery has been a mainstay since day one, Greg's favorite pieces to make are the carved pieces. These pieces highlight his artistic talent and creativity. Because he doesn't use any patterns, each piece is uniquely beautiful.
